Pests
The worst
pests allow a hacker to control your computer. In affect, your PC will
be used as server for emailing and attacking other computers on the
Internet.
When a PC has too many pests, it slows down to the point where normal
functions are impossible.
So, where are the spies and pests? They are usually found in your
cookies folder. For Windows XP, the cookies are located on C:\ hard
drive at the following path:
C:\Documents
and Settings\your name\Cookies.
You can find
this folder by going to Start->Search and typing in Cookies for the
search word.
