Don't Take Cookies

Microsoft Internet Explorer has many tools to help secure your PC. 1. Open the Internet Explorer and go to Tools on the menu bar. 2. At the bottom of the list, click on Internet Options.

3. When the Options windows comes up, you will see 7 pages, or tabs. On the General tab, look for the Delete Cookies button. This will remove all of the cookies in your folder. If several people use the same computer, and each of them has their own user name and password, then each user will need to learn how to delete the cookies after their Internet surfing.

Spyware and pests also hide in the Temporary Internet folder. You can get rid of these files by clicking on Delete Files. You will be prompted with a message to remove ALL of your stored files. Go ahead: click on the check box to Delete all off-line content.
