The Windows Updates
The Windows
Update may ask you to download a small program to assist in determining
which patches you need. It takes about 5 minutes to add the Updater
software. The process goes like this:
Start by clicking the green button that says,
“Scan for updates.” Microsoft will scan your operating system and
analyze your version of Windows. This scan is looking for Install files.
It will not spy on your private files. You will not be asked to provide
your name, address, phone number or email.
This scan can take several minutes, depending on your connection speed.
