The Modem
I love the
Internet. But do I have to put up with that awful noise the modem makes
when I go on-line? I can’t STAND the racket a modem makes as it dials
and negotiates a handshake. The solution: change the modem sound
settings.
1. Come with me to the Control Panel. Go to Start ->Control
Panel. When you get there, switch to Classic View. This makes it easier
to find the Internet to change the properties.
2. Double click on the Phone and Modem icon.
