Dialing Out
Sometimes, the
problem isn't hardware, but the way the modem dials the Internet Service
Provider (ISP). In the Computer Mama's hometown, every phone call must
begin with the area code.
The Phone and
Modem Options lists your Dialing Rules. You can choose to Edit
your location. This is also the place where you can disable call
waiting.
