Summary: Using Flash Animation to Reach Asperger’s Students, Comma Productions, Alex SergayElizabeth Nofs

Description: The Livingston Education Services Authority (LESA), Michigan Rehabilitation, and the Livingston Regional Michigan Technical Education Center (MTEC) invited us to develop computer training for high school students with Asperger's Syndrome . Asperger’s is a form of autism.

 

The High School Career Challenge offered 10 2-hour classes in Microsoft Office and FLASH animation. The program included job shadowing and life skills that were supported by counselors from LESA and Michigan Rehabilitation Services.
