Microsoft® Excel Tips and Trends

Brighton, MI — July 18, 2006—Comma Project. LLC and Gatln Education Services (GES) announced today that they will broadcast the Microsoft® Excel Tips and Trends with Lorman Education Services.

This teleconference will demonstrate data analysis tricks that you can do today with Microsoft Office® 2003 or Office® 2007. Sample spreadsheets will be available to download prior to the teleconference broadcast.

Analyze: Microsoft® Excel is a powerful tool for data analysis. This teleconference will demonstrate how to use the data tools to filter, total and compare information in a business sales spreadsheet. Our goal is to calculate: Who got what?

Visualize: The average person will only spend three seconds reading your spreadsheet. How can you simplify your charts and data to maximize knowledge transfer? This teleconference will teach you how to present that information quickly and effectively with charts and PivotTables. Learn how to use conditional formatting to highlight important records or show which results are out of the range: Red Alert!

Communicate: In addition to the charting and formatting options available in Microsoft® Excel, we will examine the new requirements for file sharing and compatibility.  Learn options for saving your files in a way that is compatible with your customers, clients and colleagues.
