June 2010 CertiPort Announces MOS certification updates

Microsoft Office Specialist Rebrand
CertiPort: American Fork, UT June 2, 2010—The Microsoft Office Specialist certification is one of the most widely known credentials in computers. Over 3 million professionals worldwide have become certified in Microsoft Office was introduced in 1998.

 

On June 2, 2010 the Microsoft Certified Application Specialist for Office 2007was renamed Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS 2007). From the Microsoft website:

 

This applies to all certifications for Microsoft Office versions, including Microsoft Office 2000, Office XP, Office 2003, the 2007 Microsoft Office System, and Microsoft Office 2010. It also applies to all Windows desktop operating system certifications for Windows Vista and Windows 7.

 

The name for Microsoft Office certification has returned to a name that has been trusted for over 12 years. Fortunately, there are NO changes to the program requirements or exam topics according to CertiPort, the official provider of the MOS certification tests.
